One of the most increasingly popular applications for our W20 doors and screens is within an office environment. By using simple readily available structural members alongside our W20 glazing system, we’re able to design and build office partitioning systems. W20 systems are the slimmest of all hot rolled steel framing systems available, offering maximum glass area, thin sections, and exceptional performance.
In May 2016 we were asked to design, manufacture and install a collection of office partitions at the Heals Building in London. A narrow corridor leading into many different offices and conference spaces, the client wanted something that could both offer privacy, when necessary, but also give the illusion of an open plan office when rooms were not in use. We designed a combination of bespoke steel office doors and sliders to fill the space, using doors for the offices requiring more privacy and sliders on the more communal spaces. Both the doors and sliders were designed to include lower level steel plating with Georgian wired glass above.

On a functional level we are the only company to achieve a certified A-thermal rating for slimline steel and our doors comply with all Part L regulations about conservation of fuel and power. This means you’ll stay warmer in winter whilst reducing energy use and bills.

Our advances in engineering mean that our steel door frames are maintenance free, aside from the occasional window clean! Our frames have intricate and hidden welds to exacting technical drawings and once manufactured, the entire frame is dipped in its entirety, in to a molten zinc mix (a process known as galvanising). This process puts a thin yet robust layer of anti-rust coating over the frame, which is then painted to your chosen RAL colour.
