As a leading manufacturer of specialist glazing, steel windows and doors in the UK Fabco is recruiting for its next phase of expansion. The successful candidate will join a busy and vibrant sales department; duties will include reviewing customer/ architect specification and presenting design and cost proposals to the client. Managing multiple enquiries through various stages of the sales process at any one time by phone, email, showroom visits and video calls, working with an established sales team to deliver weekly and monthly targets. The role will develop and challenge your sales skills and you will be provided training and support throughout your time at Fabco.
Every enquiry is bespoke and attention to detail is essential across many enquiries at a time. Your written and verbal communication will be excellent together with your own time management to ensure customer’s expectations are managed at all times. The ideal candidate will need to have excellent organisational skills, with a professional and friendly demeanour. Familiarity in construction and/or reading and understanding of plans and elevations is essential; full in-house training will be provided to familiarise the right candidate with our bespoke products.
Key Qualities of a Sales Estimator
- Min. 12 months in a similar internal sales or customer service environment.
- Strong Desire to develop a career and progress within the company
- Competent computer skills – primarily MS Office (bespoke drawing software – training provided)
- Good Organisation and self-discipline
- Good mathematical and grammar comprehension
- Takes responsibility and shows initiative to work indendently and within a team environment
- Ability to read and understand Building plans is desirable (training provided)
- Positive and friendly attitude
