The travels of the home owner were the inspiration for the transformation of this post-war semi into a statement fusion of Miami art-deco villa, Santa Fe adobe pueblo and Ibizian beach house. The aim was to create a house that was as sustainable as possible, meaning Fabco’s 99% recycled steel frames, manufactured in our factory is Sussex and precision engineered to last a lifetime, were the ideal choice.
The perfect temperature has been maintained throughout the year thanks to the unrivalled thermal performance of Fabco’s windows and doors, further adding to the sustainable credentials.
The slim sightlines and simplicity of Fabco’s designs suited the aesthetic perfectly, and generous doors spanning the rear of the house enabled maximum light to flood in to even the darkest corners, whilst maximising the views out to the garden and blurring the boundaries between the inside and out.
Our expert team was on hand to advise throughout the process and we worked with the designers to create bespoke solutions through the entire property. The team’s attention to detail in the design and manufacture of the windows and doors was critical to the success of the project, with Fabco adding important supporting elements, such as shower screens, to create a soothing and relaxing space which will age beautifully over time, turning the ordinary into the extraordinary.
